The brief

I wanted to build a Framer template for design and photography studios that didn't look like every other minimal portfolio. Most studio templates play it safe with white space and grey type. Halftone needed to do the opposite: grab attention in the first second and still be easy for a buyer to make their own. The goal was a bold, animated, multi-page site that a studio could launch without touching code, with a CMS that does the heavy lifting for their work.

What I built

A seven-page Framer template built around electric blue, acid lime and oversized type. The home page opens with a tilted photo stack, a spinning sticker and a giant wordmark, then moves through scrolling marquees, a statement with photo pills, selected work, a services list, a client quote and a call to action. Projects run on the CMS, and each one has its own accent colour, gallery and a link to the next project. There's a custom View cursor on project cards, service rows that flip to blue on hover, word-by-word headline reveals and page transitions throughout. Everything is built with native Framer features, so there's no code anywhere. Colours and type are shared styles, buttons, navigation and the footer are reusable components, and the site is fully responsive on desktop, tablet and phone. I also set up SEO on every page, including titles, descriptions, share images and alt text.
